We're at war. >:o

It was hard watching what was going on on tv, not only because the media is crap but because my roommates are so goddamn insane. "So, what is this going to do to gas prices?" I was getting so upset and disappointed at their media-brainwashed thinking. "If they didn't attack us first, we wouldn't have to attack them. And now they're threatening more terrorist attacks."

It was bonechilling. I can't believe they think like that, which means they believe whatever is on TV. They don't really realize how small this world is and they take for granted that we're "lucky". All they care about are damn movie stars (and yes, they were a little disappointed with changes in the Oscar show.)

Anyway, it's too upsetting to watch this war. I wish we could get out there with all the protesters but damn these finals. :(

I had a final at 8am today but I couldn't sleep until about 3 or 4 in the morning. I couldn't stop thinking about the war. I was angry and scared. It's hard to believe that we're in the 21st century and it feels like the progress of humanity is just going turn around and go in a reverse direction. Still pissed off but I think I'm going to take a nap.

Me and a friend took a break from studying for finals and watched Bush's speech. It feels like everyone knew what was going to be said, but there was that slight glimmer of hope that nothing would happen. But nope. Anyway, back to brainwashing.. I mean studying myself to death.
